About the service
This treatment becomes necessary when tooth decay has reached deep inside the tooth and bacteria have infected the dental pulp.
Sometimes, previous treatment fails and needs to be redone.
- The procedure (like most treatments at our clinic) is performed under local anesthesia.
- We carry out this treatment using only an operating microscope and a rubber dam.
The root canals are tiny, and we can only treat what we can see. The rubber dam isolates the tooth from saliva in the mouth, preventing further bacterial contamination.
